Housing Safety Study

This study was done for Fresno Housing (formerly known as Fresno Housing Authority) for the purpose of identifying gaps and opportunities for safety improvements in properties within the city of Fresno. The Central Valley Health Policy Institute in collaboration with Faith in the Valley as part of a Central Valley Housing Data Repository project collected data from more than 400 residents and conducted 11 focus groups. The survey and focus group results were presented to the Fresno Housing Commissioners in order to inform future investments in safety. For access to the de-identified survey response dataset, please contact Dr. Tania Pacheco-Werner. All data requests will undergo a review process. (NOTE: the dataset excludes the following information: First and last name for all family members, Address, Age, Phone number(s), E-mail address, Tenant Code, Relation to the Head of Household, and Fresno Housing Property Name).
